Intensive Family Interventions Services

Dynamic Interventions Inc. provides Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) to preserve families and decrease risk of children being placed outside of their families. Dynamic Interventions assists with reunification of families, reduction for risk of out of home placement or stabilization of a current placement. We serve children between the ages of 4-22 for a minimum of 90 days with wide array of services provided within the home, school and community. A team of three professionals including a licensed therapist, mental health professional and paraprofessional work with the family and child for a minimum of 10 hours a week to increase support and empowerment to the families and child while promoting change in challenging situations. It is our mission to change our community one family at a time.

Who We Serve

We serve children 4-22 who have behavioral or emotional disturbances including substance abuse and sexual behavior problems. Many of our consumers have not found success with outpatient therapy, while others are returning from out of home treatment or an out of home placement. Each situation is unique and we encourage anyone to call or submit a referral form so that we can assist in serving or assist in finding the right services even if that is not us.

Currently we are able to serve children with Medicaid. We do not take Peachstate (Cenpatico) or Wellcare (Magellan) at this time. This includes social security disability recipients, children who have been adopted through state adoption and children who are currently in foster care. We can also serve children who have no current insurance. We also accept private pay.

Our Families

Each family we work with looks very different. While some are families have been together since the child's birth, other families are newly formed. Some families are trying to adjust to new living.

Team Based Approach

Our teams consist of three professionals including a team leader, mental health professional and paraprofessional. The team leader provides supervision and oversight for the team as well as therapy and counseling for the child and family. A team leader has obtained a Masters degree in their field, a minimum of 2 years experience providing mental health therapy and a current License through the state of Georgia. The mental health professional also provides counseling and therapy to the family and child. Mental Health Professionals have a Masters degree in their field and have a current Associate License through the state of Georgia. Paraprofessionals provide skill building, education, case management and discharge planning. They have obtained a bachelors degree in their field and have experience working with children and families.

Teams meet weekly for team meetings which gives an opportunity for each professional to discuss your families' case in-depth. Teams keep low case numbers so that they can provide the highest possible care for your child and family. This approach allows everyone to work together to provide the best services available. The team discusses progress and assesses the family's needs so that they can be addressed during upcoming sessions. Team members will go above and beyond to enable families to succeed, all while encouraging and educating the family to operate independently. We have on-call staff available 24 hours a day seven days a week to help through any and all situations.
