Team Based Approach

Our teams consist of three professionals including a team leader, mental health professional and paraprofessional. The team leader provides supervision and oversight for the team as well as therapy and counseling for the child and family. A team leader has obtained a Masters degree in their field, a minimum of 2 years experience providing mental health therapy and a current License through the state of Georgia. The mental health professional also provides counseling and therapy to the family and child. Mental Health Professionals have a Masters degree in their field and have a current Associate License through the state of Georgia. Paraprofessionals provide skill building, education, case management and discharge planning. They have obtained a bachelors degree in their field and have experience working with children and families.

Teams meet weekly for team meetings which gives an opportunity for each professional to discuss your families' case in-depth. Teams keep low case numbers so that they can provide the highest possible care for your child and family. This approach allows everyone to work together to provide the best services available. The team discusses progress and assesses the family's needs so that they can be addressed during upcoming sessions. Team members will go above and beyond to enable families to succeed, all while encouraging and educating the family to operate independently. We have on-call staff available 24 hours a day seven days a week to help through any and all situations.
